Came across this recently. Scottish mountain bike competition. Should make life easier for the chain driven motorcycle users. I'm not sure but after a search I think the product is sold on this side of the pond as Royal Purple Maxfilm.

Good Pic, I do lots of mountain bike rideing. I use this stuff that goes on thin and you see it suck itself right into the chain then it turns into like a wax and it works great. It stays on long and does not pick up tons of road crap. Not saying to use it on a sport bike though. Still need to research that stuff yet, you know, engine oil, and lubes and brake fluids and all that good stuff.

I found a local bicycle shop that carries the Purple Extreme and he was nice enough to give me a small sample bottle. The shop owner said it takes only a small amount and that he typically goes 400 miles before reapplying. Says the chain stays lubricated and as clean as a whistle. I'll try it on my MTB as soon as it dries up a bit here.

As far as the motorcycle version goes... the Royal Purple rep I emailed said that that product is called Max-Chain. As soon as I can locate some locally I'll be trying it out on my two chain driven bikes.

That photo almost looks physically impossible.....and it looks like it's from an advertisement for the product.............

Its rather obvious that the photo came from an ad, ya know, big red box with "User Testimonial" in it. No kidding.

I put the picture up because I'm on the hunt for a good chain lube and figured there are others, with chain drive motorcycles and bicycles, doing the same.

From what I've been reading what you see here isn't impossible. I'll let you know as soon as I can get my hands on some.
