After months of review and research,I decided to go with Suzuki. I got the Blvd. S50/805cc. The local dealer had a red s50,but much preferred black. After 2 weeks he found a black one from another dealer. Turns out, according to the dealer,I have the only black '06 s50 in the entire state(Oklahoma).
So on 3-13, the dealer called and said your bike is in and being prepared and will be ready in a couple of days and on 3-15 I purchased the bike with a trade-in,my starter bike(04 virago 250) I checked KBB.com and resell value was $1745.00. So the dealer looks over my Virago and asks what I want for it and I tell him what I found @KBB and he then whips out of his back pocket a book called NAD(?) and he said the boss wants him to use the values in this book instead and quotes me $1500.00. He then sits down and tells me I'm one of their best customers, and says he'll give me $1800.00 for the trade-in.WOW! I couldn't turn that down.
So after the paper work was processed and fees totalled, the S50 had a sticker price of $6500.00,the final sale price was $4859.00. Not bad at all.
The bike is really powerful and very fast(of course I'm taking it easy and being careful) >My buddies who ride hardtails and Harley's are very impressed with my new ride. All in all,I'm very happy with my decision and enjoying a more comfortable ride
