Howdy,
I am a newbie. I dont know how to convert those gear ratios in my bike manual to actual speeds. I am looking for which are the best speed ranges when I should upshit and which to downshit. I ve a 2002 Honda 600F4i.
Thanks!

kinda harsh dont ya think. Hes not saying that cause he thinks its a bad bike. Hes saying that cause its a fast bike and not a good bike to learn on. Its not a safe bike for a n00b man

as for this, it all depends i believe. If you are just crusing around town and saving gas or if your looking for best speed, so which do you want?

Fine, shift anywhere between about.... 5000 and 10000 rpms. If you're cruising then shift lower if you're trying for fast acceleration then shift later.
There is no set speed to shift at.
