BMW Project bike.

Hiya all, i've been away for a little bit (Internet down.) But i've been workin on a project bike that you might be inerested in seeing.

It's a 1991 BMW r80 that I want to take all over europe. Hopefully it'll be finished by summer

I'm also curious as to your opinions on what color I should paint the whole thing when it's done. I'm thinking flat OD Green and leaving the frame black. What do you think?

Looks neat, I'll have to think about colors, I've always been partial to black, yellow, or red myself.

Replicate the original paint scheme.

I bought the bike here in Naples. Same bike in the states would have been a bit more.

BTW my wife wants it all red

I like the original dark blue color, but the ammo cans might call for something a little more military looking. Maybe a camo scheme :

Hi Tech, nice to have you back, my vote goes for white with red trim. Carbon fibre headers if you can get them.

As for paint, original is always a hoot.

Flat black...EVERYTHING flat black. The olive drab green would look good too.

The older winter green colors would be nice with white accent stripes

I'm partial to the classic black with white pinstripes. That would make the bike look really nice.
