2027 Ducati Scrambler 100: PUTTING AMERICA ON THE ITALIAN MAP.

Introducing the new 2027 Ducati Scrambler 100…

Scrambler 100 embodies the refined, contemporary freedom of the Scrambler 800 Nightshift and the authentic spirit of the 1962 250 Scrambler, the model that established Ducati in the American market.

Scrambler 100
Scrambler 100 reimagines the Scrambler 800 Nightshift as an authentic, urban bike. Its character is all about balance, ease of riding and instant pleasure. The lines are clean, the feeling direct, the approach relaxed but deliberate. A bike that invites the rider to enjoy the road, leaving room for personal style and intuitive control. With this special edition, it enters Collezione100 as a tribute to a vision that marked Ducati’s identity in the United States, celebrating the concept of timeless, carefree motorcycling.

Inspiration Historic motorcycle
250 Scrambler
Scrambler Ducati was born in 1962 with the 250 Scrambler, a model developed exclusively for the US market. American importer Joe Berliner believed that the Ducati range needed a simple, versatile bike suited to dirt riding or light off-roading. The 250 Scrambler was initially only available in the United States. Scrambler Ducati didn’t arrive in Italy until 1969, bolstered by a marketing campaign that could capture the spirit of young generations. From that moment, Scrambler became a symbol of freedom and style, an image that continues to live on in contemporary Ducati identity.

Livery
The livery of the Scrambler 100 directly recalls that of the first 250 Scrambler, from 1962, preserving a visual language consistent with the model’s origins. The colours and surfaces interact with a clean, functional aesthetic, designed for the American market and for versatile usage. It is a livery that does away with excess, instead favouring balanced proportions and details that speak of simplicity and authenticity. Important details include mechanical elements such as the frame, swingarm, steering head and triple clamp, which take up the blue of the graphics just like the original bike, and the Moto Ducati winged logo used in the early 60s. Each element helps recreate the spirit of the first Scrambler Ducatis: bikes designed to explore, adapt and create recognisable style and that can span generations without losing meaning.

Two numbered and signed multiples of Nespolo’s artworks

Jacket
The Scrambler Nightshift 100 jacket in soft leather interprets the Scrambler spirit with a clean design, a relaxed fit, and graphic details that ooze contemporary character. Protection and comfort are combined in equal measure, for a jacket ideal for everyday use.

Helmet
The Scrambler Nightshift 100 jet helmet flaunts a clean, authentic style with its matte finish, warm tones and hints of American vintage. Developed around a Suomy base in composite fibre, it combines a distinctive design with everyday comfort for a timeless look.

Since its inception, Nightshift has represented the most elegant and classic soul of the Ducati Scrambler, thanks to refined details such as the stitched seat, in true Café Racer style, or the alternation of glossy and matte parts. At the same time, the side number plates, minimal front mudguard, absence of a rear mudguard, and compact LED indicators emphasize its dynamic character.

The contrast with the completely black spoked wheels makes the Nightshift decidedly sophisticated. A flat, variable-section handlebar and bar-end mirrors complete the Café Racer look.

Contemporary Legends

Ten models, 100 units of each worldwide. Bike liveries that have written Ducati history meet modern design and technology, for an edition that celebrates the centenary.

A collector’s edition
The exclusivity of this series goes beyond the appeal of historically inspired liveries. Each model features dedicated components developed specifically for this project, including billet‑machined steering heads and triple clamps, a dry clutch (not available on Scrambler and DesertX), seats with premium upholstery, a billet‑machined fuel cap, and brake callipers with dedicated finishes.

A legacy transformed into vision: the visual rendering of Ugo Nespolo
Where art meets speed
Ugo Nespolo, a leading figure in Italian art over the past 50 years, is entrusted with the visual interpretation of Collezione100, his creative eye transforming this commemorative project into a nuanced dialogue between motorcycling, historical identity, and figurative art.

Designed for collectors
For each bike, Ugo Nespolo created two original works: one dedicated to the historic model of inspiration, the other to its contemporary interpretation. These unique artworks will become part of the Ducati Corporate Collection.

The works give rise to numbered editions, bearing the same sequential number as the bike and signed by the artist, which will be delivered along with each Collezione100 bike, heightening their value as a collector’s item.

  • Ten significant moments in Ducati’s history have inspired ten unique motorcycles, produced in a numbered series limited to just one hundred units each
  • Technology, design, art: each motorcycle features unique components which, together with its livery, make it a one-of-a-kind icon, accompanied by two works of art
  • Owners of each model will be able to complete the “Collezione 100” experience with a helmet and jacket in the same livery as the motorcycle
  • The two DesmosediciGP bikes of the Ducati Lenovo team will race with a special livery that combines those of the Collezione 100 into a single design.

The Mugello circuit, where the Desmosedici MotoGP bikes have written numerous unforgettable pages in Ducati’s racing history, is the setting for the presentation of the Collezione 100. Ten liveries, ten numbered editions, all strictly limited to just 100 units each. True contemporary icons created to mark the centenary of the Borgo Panigale-based manufacturer.

Each model is made unique by a special specification: a livery inspired by an iconic motorcycle from Ducati’s history, Alcantara or leather seats with an embroidered Ducati logo, and premium technical details such as Centenario Bronze brake calipers. This colour is exclusive to this collection and is also used for the fuel cap crown, and for the plate bearing the model number riveted onto the steering head or the billeted triple clamps. Various mechanical components on each bike feature an exclusive colour scheme that complements the historic livery. The dry clutch, a first for V2 models*, completes the authenticity of this historic collection.

Each bike comes with a dedicated rear stand, finished in the same colours as the livery, a bike cover and a certificate of authenticity. And of course, as with all Ducati collector’s bikes, the experience of getting on the bike is made even more special by the dashboard featuring a dedicated ignition ceremony. Each owner of the Collezione 100 Collection can complete their look with a helmet and a technical jacket in a limited edition, characterized by a colour scheme that reflects that of the motorbike.**

The Collezione 100 represents yet another link between Ducati and the art world. Ugo Nespolo, a leading figure in Italian art of the late 20th century and a passionate Ducati enthusiast, has enthusiastically joined this project. Each model in the 100 Collection will be accompanied by a pair of numbered art prints bearing the same serial number as the motorcycle and signed by Nespolo himself, who has interpreted every model in the 100 Collection and the historic motorcycle that inspired its livery in his own unmistakable, colourful and dynamic style.

The result is a collection of true gems: unique, unmistakable and full of character.

The presentation took place on the legendary straight of the Tuscan circuit where, for the first time in MotoGP history, Ducati staged a vernissage. A veritable art gallery trail, where Nespolo’s works welcomed guests, accompanying them on a journey culminating in the unveiling of the ten motorcycles of the 100 Collection.

During the event, Marc Marquez and Pecco Bagnaia unveiled the Lenovo team’s bikes, featuring a special livery for the Mugello race. The design combines historic Ducati logos with dynamic geometric patterns, bringing together the ten graphics from the 100 Collection bikes on the fairing. The details celebrating the centenary and the dates 1926–2026 feature glitter, evoking the historic 750 Imola Desmo, whilst on the front fairing the modern graphics contrast with an oval number plate and vintage-style font.

Several Ducati partners have drawn inspiration to create products dedicated to the Borgo Panigale manufacturer’s centenary. The Collezione 100 has in fact inspired a series of four rucksacks created by Piquadro, unveiled during the event. Carrera, the official sponsor of the Ducati Lenovo team, has instead presented the Anniversary Edition sunglasses, produced in a numbered series limited to 500 pieces.

The next opportunity for the public to see the Collezione 100 in person will be at World Ducati Week, where they can be admired in a space reserved for all Ducatisti on 3, 4 and 5 July.

Subsequently, the ten motorcycles will embark on a journey that will take them to the Goodwood Festival of Speed, a world-class event and a must-attend for car and motorbike enthusiasts. Finally, the 100 Collection will return to Bologna, where it will be proudly displayed in various museums across the region.

The Desmodue engine of the new Scrambler Ducati generation has been updated in its components and is now equipped with a new eight-plate clutch, which operates more smoothly. The clutch is also more compact, thus allowing the lateral bulk of its cover to be reduced and offering more space for the rider’s foot. The new Ducati Scrambler has also been renewed in its technical contents and lightened by a total of 4 kg, thus obtaining a more manageable and easier to ride bike.

The new Scrambler Ducati is even more fun and safer, thanks to the introduction of Ride-by-Wire accelerator management. This solution allows the bike’s personality to be changed through two Riding Modes, enabling riders to ride confidently thanks to the presence of Ducati Traction Control. The standard equipment is completed by ABS cornering, essential for making riding even safer.
