The third weekend of April sees Suzuki GSX-R1000 machinery on track for Round 2 of the Endurance World Championship at Le Mans, France, plus the opening round of the British Superbike and Superstock 1000 championships at Silverstone in the UK.
Fifteen-times EWC Champions, Suzuki Endurance Racing Team, is currently on-track at the Le Mans 24 Hours Race at the Circuit Bugatti, and as the first six-hours approaches, have led several times and currently holding second position with Vincent Philippe, Etienne Masson, Gregg Black and new ‘fourth’ rider Gregory Leblanc.
In the UK, Bradley Ray is joined by Luke Stapleford in the BSB class aboard the Buildbase Suzuki GSX-R1000 as Richard Cooper races the Superstock GSX-R1000-spec in the National SST 1000 series this year.
In final qualifying today, Stapleford secured a third-row start with ninth position, with Ray on the sixth row with 16th. Cooper is on the front row, in second position.
