| As the racing season hits full swing, the Trofeo Aprilia RS 457 is also back. The single-make championship, created to support the growth of young motorcycling talents, will officially kick off on Sunday, May 17, at the Autodromo Piero Taruffi in Vallelunga. Organised by Eventi 2 Ruote, the Trophy represents the natural stepping stone for young riders wishing to make their debut at major circuits. The format guarantees a solid development path, combining high-level performance with affordable entry and running costs. Unveiled at EICMA 2023, the RS 457 in its Thophy configuration is a competition bike that perfectly embodies the DNA of Aprilia Racing. The RS 457 Trofeo Racing Kit, in fact, introduces key components that enhance the characteristics of the production model, including: a racing ECU, an exhaust developed in collaboration with SC Project and a racing air filter by Sprint Filter (both partners of Aprilia Racing in MotoGP), a Plastic Bike fairing kit with fibreglass fuel tank cover and tail section, and racing switches and control panel by Jet Prime. Furthermore, all Aprilia RS 457s entered in the Trophy will be fitted with Pirelli tyres in the SC1 compound. The new season of the Trofeo Aprilia RS 457 will consist of five rounds at Italy’s leading circuits, held in conjunction with the Coppa Italia Velocità: The entry fee for the Trofeo Aprilia RS 457 will be €3,270 + VAT, and all riders aged 14 and over are eligible to participate. The price of the bike in race configuration is €10,249 (€7,199 for the road bike, plus €3,050 for the Trofeo Racing Kit).
