Adding photos (attachments) to your posts on the forum. FAQ

I've seen some posts recently asking how to add photos to your posts on the Total Motorcycle community forums so I thought I'd post this little toutorial.

Adding photo attachments is as easy as 1-2-3.

1. Make sure you are in FULL EDIT mode when creating your post (quick edit you can't attach photos). Scroll down to the bottom of the page where it says "UPLOAD ATTACHMENT"

2. Click on BROWSE... button and search for the photo on your computer you want to upload. Add a FILE COMMENT if you like, once you are done, click on ADD THE FILE. You will get a small popup box with the words "The upload is currently in progress" that will close automaticly once the file is uploaded.

NOTE: You can upload a file with a maximum size of 150KB.

3. You will now see under FILENAME your file. Which you can click on to check if it looks fine. If it looks good and your message is done, CLICK SUBMIT to save the message and the file.

ADVANCED FEATURE:

Under the type box (where you are typing your message) you will see ATTACHMENTS: (drop down box with your file name in it) and PLACE INLINE. Clicking PLACE INLINE will place the attachment in the message whereever your cursor is. Give it a try.

That's about it, I hope it's easy as 1-2-3 and if you have any issues, just post here. :D

You can use photoshop or another online editor. The forums will take around 120K file size, the gallery 200K photo. :D
