Actually, while he was getting on the bike, I half expected a sniper to take him out. The hostages were clear and they had a good clear shot.
Not only was a perfectly good bike cracked up, so was the side of the police vehicle...not to mention the danger to that police officer.
But, yeah: this way ...

Captain America bike
So, I caught a bit of "Easy Rider" the other night on AMC, I think, and I got to wondering what ever happened to the original Captain America bike featured in that movie?
Does anyone know?
I know that the motorcycle show at the Guggenheim Museum in NY a few years back had a Captain America bike on ...

What kind of class room participation is needed? I'm kind of a minority in all this. One time I came as an alterntate (didn't get a spot) but I noticed that the average age seemed to be between 20 and 35. If anything, it was mainly 30 year olds and their wives. Now.. even if I don't take my msf at ...

I was just recently in that situation. Now, what I ended up doing IS NOT what I recommend to anyone, but in this case, it worked for me.
I had gotten the motorcycle bug over half a year ago but, it being winter, couldn't take the MSF course until about a month ago. So, I filled the time getting my ...

Once in a blue moon I actually do something right.
I just got done with my MSF course this weekend and found the experience to be one of the best possible. I took it in Rutland, Vermont and it only cost me $135. The instructors were spot-on great and they had me doing things on a bike (safely, of ...

VStar 1100
I'm really becoming interested in the Yamaha (sorry, "Star") VStar 1100 because it just seems to fit me like a glove. The problem is that the only Yamaha dealer within any doable distance from me won't let anyone test drive the things because they don't want the odometer accumulating numbers. Fair ...

I'm scheduled to take my course this month on June 22nd. I attended the course as a watcher (lurker) yesterday (Saturday) to see what I am up against.
The students, to tell you the truth, made it look easy while I was watching. Then, I struck up a conversation with some of them and each mentioned ...
