I test rode one yesterday. I was very impressed with the bike. It has an absolutely astonishing braking system. It handled low speed turns better than a bike half it's size. While not BMW's most powerful bike at 100 BHP, it has plenty of get up and go for just about anything. It would take me awhile...

Thanks for all the tips, but I found and fell in love with a 2002 Honda Magna
V4. It is fast for 750 and purrs like a kitten.

Thanks for the comments. I have considered the S50 but at 6'2" and 200# i found it a little small.

Any owners of this model out there? Would love to hear your story about the bike. Also comparisons to HD Sportster 1200C.

Hi,
I am starting to ride after a 40 year hiatus. I am considering a bike purchase and have narrowed it down to a HD 1200 custom or a Suzuki S83. Does anyone have an opinion on either?
