The GS500 is a great bike to learn on. My GF just got one and she loves it. Maintenance is as cheap and simple as it gets when it comes to motorcycles. Now the Seca II was my first road bike and it was great! Dunno anything about the FZR.

I'll keep you post it. I got a lot of stuff to finish on this bike before I get to play with the pipes. It's a full rebuild and with school and work is hard to find a lot of time for it but I just finished the Engine just needs to be polished.

Ha, I didn't think about that. Now that you mention it I like the color scheme better I am a big speed racer fan! used to watch it all the time.

I have been rebuilding a 1971 CL450 for a few months now. Just finish rebuilding the engine yesterday and now is time to start think of paint.

I was thinking on a black frame with white side panels and white gas tank with a red racing stripe down the middle.
What do you think? suggestions?

Ok! So I'm revuilding a 71 cl450 and I want to make a customs set of pipes for it but I couple of questions raised!

When do you have to rejet? or how do you know to rejet you carbs when changing mufflers?

What is the performance difference between a 4 to 2 and a 2to 1 and a 4 to 1 etc ...

go with the Z1K. You get more bike for the buck.
