that bike should get over 70mpg.
ignition problems can mimic carb problems.
check the plugs, timing (if adjustable) spark and do a compression test then post the results.

yeah, i considered repainting it and putting new decals on it but if i were buying this bike, i'd want to see the original paint so i know it hasn't been bondoed up. there is one exactly like it on ebay that's now over $1,200. when it sells it will give me a very good idea of what this bike is worth ...

an artist i know in dallAss just gave it to me. it was sitting for a long time and "running poorly" before that. i figured out the wiring now all the lights work. the only thing left to do is fine tune it. it will tach up to about 7K rpm then start cutting out. the bike has very good compression ...

i have a 75, 500T that's in darned good condition but sat for 9 years. i got it running but the previous owner wired in two tail lights with a toggle switch to the fuse box. i removed the lights/switch and now i have to get my tail light and headlight working. can someone please post a pic of the ...
