Thanks and congrats to you also msh-1156. It is a great feeling. I've been looking at bikes at night, and I was just reading about the vstar 950. I may have to wait for that one! It's sharp!

Passed the MSF Basic Course

Just wanted to tell everyone that I passed the BRC this weekend!!!! Happy Days!! I did pretty well, got dinged on going too slow around the curve and didn't stop fast enough...But I still passed!

It was fun, and I learned a lot. Looking through the curves was the toughest, but I think I finally ...

Hey monkeywright! I read your posts the other night about your experience, and it sounded like you had a good time! I'll keep your words in my mind as I'm going through it.

true. She may think differently if she would go along. And the last bike I had, if I had taken some training, I most likely would nothave crashed. I was going around a curve and got wide and hit the gravel.

I like the second idea! I thought about having a friend "give" me one for a loan he couldn't pay off! Instead of cash, I get a bike! That just might work.

New Lurker with questions

Hello everyone,
After lurking on the site all week, I thought I should join and post my question. I once owned a bike, 15 years ago. I had it about 3 months with a learners permit, then I wrecked. I broke a bone in my neck, one of those little ones that hang off the side of the spine. I'm okay with ...
