Sorry, that was overly simple. The number you have should get you the correct key blank. The dealer or a locksmith will need to use a device which I don't know the name of to determine the tumbler sequence of your ignition switch and can then cut the blank to fit.

I'd vote for the Vulcan. Another suggestion would be the Shadow 750. It has a 5 spd. The Blast is a throwaway bike. Meaning you ride it till something breaks then go get a different one. Personally I ride a 600 VLX and although another gear would be nice it does not really need one. I ride mine to w...

I always thought the stand was on the left because thats the side the oil drain is on. Makes sense to me.
