Drafty helmets?

Hi, I have been around awhile, and have been riding for about a year. I've dealt with it since I started riding, but this helmet I have is just making my ride unenjoyable. I'm wondering (before I buy a new helmet), is it normal for the face-shield to be extremely drafty? It keeps out the majority of ...

It's an 86 yamaha yx600 radian and hasn't had any modifications... Maybe I am tense since I started learning how to ride on the freeway. I remember that I use to be tense on city streets, but now I'm relaxed on them and tense on the highway. I'll try to loosen up a bit.

Thanks.

Lower back pain?

Sup y'all, I have been riding for about 3 weeks now, and what I've noticed is that since I started riding, my lower back is hurting all the time. Is this from the leaning to reach the handlebars, or the vibration of the bike? Or is it simply that my back muscles are being exercised more than normal ...

I seen some helmets that have openings so you can install speakers, those are awesome! Wouldn't just a set of those new bluetooth earbuds work perfectly for you? That's what I plan to do once summer gets here and I can do some serious riding.

Online parts and maintenance equipment

Does anyone have a recommendation for an online parts and maintenance equipment vendor? I'm tired of driving around to all the retail places in town only to find out that they don't supply what I need, such as oil, filters, etc.

Thanks :|

Gasoline (California Only)

I realize this may be because my "new" yx600 radian is an 86 model, but the gas tank says California only. Is this an MTBE or Leaded thing? What happens if I drive to nevada and fill up there?

First bike?

Hey all, I been lurking around here for awhile and am looking to buy a starter bike. I wanted to start with a 650 but I just got a lead on someone selling a 1984 KZ1000M1 1000 cc with 36k miles on it for only $1300.

Anyone think this is a good deal, and how would a new biker like me, 5'11'' 190 ...
