thats kind what I was thinking. I drive a manual car so I know about using the handbrake when on a hill. I figured you would use the rear brake so throttle control was better.

question about starting/stopping

I am some time from getting my bike or even taking the MSF course. Saving money... Anyway I have a question on my mind. I have been wondering what is the proper technique when starting and stopping on an up/down hill incline? Just been curious to find out, thanks in advance

air cooling is fine in florida, especially for engine's those sizes. I notice you are from Orlando, do you go to UCF? GS500F V. Ninja 500 in Florida

I posted about what would be a good first bike for me. Most people seem to say either the ninja or the Gs. I like the GS looks wise more but am wondering if the air cooling would have a problem in the hot summer months in Florida. Any ideas? Thank you in advance for any help

Need the help of some vets

My roomate and I are looking into buying a pair of bikes for the both of us. Originally we were set on getting R6s but as I have read on a couple of forums I realize that might not be the wisest choice, considering we have not riding experience. Its about 50/50 in terms of peoples responses. Anyway ...
