Riding low (fork problems)
My front forks are riding pretty low. Is this generally an indication that they are running low on fork oil? 'Cause I know I have a slow leak (even after they were resealed).

Well I took the battery to Napa Auto Parts and had it load tested and it showed 12 volts normally and 7 volts under a load, so the battery isn't the problem. He said it had a pretty full charge too, but when I reinstalled it, the engine is still cranking over pretty slow. Is this the sign of a bad s...

Is my battery dead? Is my charging system fried?
I left my motorcycle for a little over a month (with gas stabilizer in it) and got back to find the cycle with starting problems. It wasn't starting after lots of turning over. Well I jumped it with a friend's car and all was well. I went to a couple places and it started up fine afterward, but then...

What about this chain here: I found out my chain is a 530 o-ring 102 link.

I Need a New Chain
Well, my chain has died: It came off the rear sprocket while I was riding down my street. I found out why: one of the links was bent out of shape-don't know how, but it is old, so that probably had something to do with it. Anyway, so I need a new chain. The OEM chain is $400, so I'm looking at after...

Leaky Forks
I pulled my front forks off my bike because they leak oil, and I don't have the right tools to take the forks apart. I called the dealership and they said it'd be $180 for the labor if I brought the forks in. Does this seem reasonable? How much should I pay?

Stunt Junkies
Anyone catch Stunt Junkies last night on the Discovery Channel? The guy did a 137 MPH nose wheelie, breaking the world record of 97 MPH! It was pretty cool, but not as cool as the souped up ZX-14 he got to ride.
And the parachute stunt after it was cool too.

the cons seem to outweigh the pros. :( The cons do outweigh the pros in most applications, but for dirtbikes of pwc's, the better power to weight ratio of two strokes outweighs all the disadvantages, especially since these vehicles are usually used far less frequently than most vehicles on the road.

Was she hot? No... If I had a choice between her and the bike, I'd choose the bike. To everyone else, thanks for the info...especially zootech, 'cause I can almost guarantee she never turned the bike off. I'm way better prepared if I ever run into this again in the future, or -gasp- it happens to m...

A fellow rider dropped her bike...
...while I was coming up on the left turn onto my street yesterday. I was behind her by a couple cars and a guy in a truck next to her helped her get it back up. When traffic moved and I got up to her she asked me if she was supposed to hold the throttle wide open if the engine is flooded when start...
