Check your local law. Over here car batteries, maybe also bike batteries, have a 3 year pro rata warranty.

If it packs up in 2 years then the new battery will cost 2/3 the price of a new one.

Also get a hold of a battery tender for winter. That will help get maximum life from the battery.

The reason I mentioned the emissions is because we get the M50 here too but it is not built the same.

You'll aslo have to take into account the different laws for getting it on the road in the UK.

If I got a bike sent down here I would have to spend $$$$$$ to get the emissions to an accepted state before getting a roadworthy on it.
