Check your local law. Over here car batteries, maybe also bike batteries, have a 3 year pro rata warranty.
If it packs up in 2 years then the new battery will cost 2/3 the price of a new one.
Also get a hold of a battery tender for winter. That will help get maximum life from the battery.
