1987 Yamaha srx 250?

I was just wondering if this is a good bike. I can't seem to find any information on it anywhere.

interesting little bike. Its basically a 250cc single cylinder sportbike. Looks like it would be a collectors item on this side of the pond. If the price is reasonable than I think you made quite a find there.

most of the sources I looked up on it highly recommend it as a beginners bike. It does seem to be a pretty reliable beastie too from what I have read.

Well i didn't get the bike. It was on ebay and the buy it now price was $800, but people started bidding on it so the price went up and the auction ended while i was at work. So, my search for a bike continues.
