I'm brand new to this forum, and just returning to riding after a LONG hiatus. Long enough that I feel awkward all over again. I just picked up a simple little used Honda 250cc Nighthawk for the first season (as in I haven't even gotten the darn thing home yet!). Once I've re-figured it all out, I'll decide what I want for my permanent bike.
I'm also a road racer (cars) and have seen first hand about how much car control I learned from my schools and subsequent races.
Which brings me to my question. Last time I was at Pocono Raceway, I saw the CA Superbike School was there. I looked them up this morning, and I see they are coming to NHIS in August. It looks like they emphasis bike control more so than racing. I'm finding myself thinking about doing a one day when they come to NH, not so much to race (I'm too old to be starting that!!!

So...have any of you taken their course? Or any other performance course like this? Pros? Cons? Are they any good? I was thinking I'd sign up to use their equipment and safety gear, etc. (rather than showing up on my little putt-putt....hey I could bring the Vespa scooter with me! THAT would impress them for sure!!!

Any input on them would be appreciated!
