 I just wanted to stop by and say hello. I've been riding for roughly 21 yrs and just crossed over from sport bikes to cruisers. After sustaining a severe back injury while on the job, I realized my knee-dragging days are done. I'm now the proud owner of Yamaha's new Roadliner 'midnight' edition. I must say.....this is one beautiful work of art. For all the cruiser owners on here, if you get a chance to ride this bike, do it. I think you will be impressed.

Anyway, I'll spend some time looking around and I look forward to chatting with other members.

sorry to hear about the accident.

but you're only 21 yrs old, is your back injury so bad that it FUBAR'ed your back?

maybe a couple of years and it'll heal and then you can go back to sportbikes.

well anyway...

Thanks for the welcomes!

BTW, I underwent a bi-level spinal fusion and have been unable to work since Dec. 01 In the last week and a half since purchacing the Roadliner, I've only managed to log 105 miles and I feel like I've been run over.....TWICE. I have nothing but time on my side to try and build up to the fitness level needed to ride more often. Until then, this bike makes a BEAUTIFUL garage ornament.
