Look, we are here to help. We don't want you to be one of the people selling a new sportsbike with 4 thousand miles on it with road rash and matching gear. We want you to be a safe rider so you can enjoy riding as much as we do.

It's just when we get new people who, time after time, ignore our advice and the hundreds of years of riding experience on this board, that we get torqued. What's the point of asking if you're going to totally ignore the advice? Hopefully you came here to get information from people with much more experience. When people throw our advice back at us with ad hominem attacks, it just makes me sad.

If you're going to ask us questions, please try to understand where we are coming from. We don't want another statistic, we want another riding buddy.

BUY MINE, BUY MINE! Seriously, not a bad choice- Honda CB750 Nighthawk (if you're at least 5'5", it's a little tall). They haven't changed since 91 and can be had easily for that price. My 96 (in the picture) would only sell for about $2500.
It's a very uncomplicated bike, easy to work on, and has been EXTREMELY reliable.
(the fairing and air dam are aftermarket)

Well, maybe you can first look at all the models, the newest the better.. You can search the internet to look for the newest models... Check also its parts, sometimes there are pirated parts being sold.. Always go with the trusted brands... That will save you money..
