Hi All,
How stupid an idea is it to use a pressure washer to clean my bike?
While cleaning most of the bike is no problem there are a lot of hard to reach areas around the back of the bike (shocks, swing arm etc) which get covered in road muck and being a lazy old man I'm looking to ease the weekly cleaning burden.
Thanks for the feedback.
T.

You'll find mixed reviews on that one. If you are going to use it, it's best to stay away from electrical components like spark plugs and whatnot... Pressure washer could force water in to where it shouldn't be. Not only could it mess up electrical components, but it could also screw up bearings (Like the steering head or wheel bearings) which require grease to stay healthy - Pressure could force grease out and water in.
