And he should have. I like both Tom Petty and the RHCP, but the peppers are the best, so the win.

his was a looped sample from Under Pressure....alot of rappers (Im sure Im stretching the term by including vanillia ice under it) use looped background tracks.Se7eN wrote:Vanilla Ice's Ice Ice Baby has one extra beat compared to someone else's song. He got away. There is definately enough difference for RHCP to get away with it.

Flea is a great bass player, yet tom petty's band is better all around.High_Side wrote:GIve me the Chillis. There has never been a better bass player than Flea.....fireguzzi wrote:+1Shiv wrote:Blah I'll take Petty over RHCP any day of the week.
But I still like the chili peppers too.

this all started because some mentally challenged dj opened his mouth. and know its completly blown out of proportion. im not a huge pepper head or anything...i like tom petty...i dont own any albums, but ill rock it on the radio...and im pretty sure the time signatures are different... trust me...tom petty will not sue.
thats a sweet bike.
