Haha. I was thinking about PMing you today. I lost my charger cable for my digital camera so I have to pick one up before I can snap a few.

Question for ya. I want to upgrade my pipes in order to get more power and a little more growl. Primarily power. What do you have and what do you suggest that give give me the best power gain?

Lots of people have suggested the 2 in 1. Some prefer the Vance & Hines over the Cobras due to better finish on the chrome.

Also, since it's not carburated, do you have to repgrogram the ECM at all? The previous owner scribbled in the owner's manual "custom exhaust = no tuning necessary". I don't know how true that is...

I have the Cobra PowerPro 2-into-1 on mine. Vance & Hines discontinued two of the three pipes they offered for the Mean Streak when the '04 came out due to failures with the mounts (they were cracking and falling off). All they offer now are the Big Shots Staggered, which I don't care for. If you can still find one of the Pro-Pipes in stock for your 1500, have at it, but don't skip over the Cobras due to the bad rap they've earned over the years. The chrome on my pipes is flawless, they fit perfectly, they sound great, and they came with a lifetime warranty. If they're still not your cup-of-tea, consider the Hard Krome Sideburner as an alternative. It's pretty pricey, but it looks pretty mean and HK makes good products.

As for the fuel ratio, no, you won't need to add a TFI module if you're just changing the pipes. What you will have to do, however, is go to Gadget's website and perform the "marbling technique" to your bike in order to disable the reed valves. Failure to do so will cause much backfiring for many moons!

Huh, I had no idea that was there. Reading through Gadget's instructions, it looks cake. Thanks, Zoo!

And yeah, I found the charger cable for my digital cam. Will take some "Before" pictures. The bike is pretty much stock at the moment. I went for it specifically for that reason. I hate messing with modified anything because most mods. are done half-arsed.

I'll post some pics this coming Sunday for everyone to gander.
