I need an owners manual for a 2003 Roadstar Silverado when i bought it from a CAR Dealershit he didnt have one. I look every where for one but
the only place to get one is from the YAMAHA dealer and he wants a lot for it.
any help would be appreciated.

You may want to double check to ensure the dealer is pricing you an OWNERS MANUAL and not a SHOP MANUAL. They have very similar part #s usually that-28197-00-00 (shop manual) and that-28199-00-00 (owners manual)
With Yamaha moving upscale with the new cruisers they may have BIGGIE sized everything including the prices.
The shop manuals in Canada just went up to $110 or $120 each **OUCH** -- they used to be no more than half that up until this year.

believe it or not check your local library...you have to return it but if they have it in (they might even order it in for you)..you can always borrow it when you need to.
as for the seat...most bikes I've owned have a front catch and a single bolt at the back...you may have to look hard for it...but I can't say for sure on the silverado...never had a close look at one.
