What you can do, is get any universal fender eliminator off ebay for less than $20 like
[img]http://www.randrcycles.com/4brackets.jpg
Take your seat out.
Take license plate off
Unplug and take off turn signals
Now, katanas fender is one solid piece that goes under the seat, where you place your battery, all the way to the license plate. Disconnect the battery, take out, and take off all the screws (must be 6 of them, i believe)
Once you take that sucker off, simply saw off your fender, and use metal file, to smooth out the cut and make it look more professional.
Place modified underbody piece back on its place.
Right under the brake light there is 2x6 plastic piece. Carefully drill it, bolt on your new fender bracket kit. MAKE SURE THAT YOU MARK NEW HOLES ON THE STRAIGHT LINE! Now mount and connect turning lights, license plate, connect your battery, and you're all set.
Took me 30 minutes and I was able to save around 100 bucks on new fender kit.
WILL POST PICTURES IN A DAY! (I can't do it right now, at work
