CBR 900RR engine noise?

I have a 1993 CBR 900RR with 59,000 km on it and there is a ticking noise in the engine at idle. I believe its a bit louder than just the valves ticking and was thinking it might be the timing chain or the tension on the chain. As you increase throttle by about 700-1000 rpm, it goes away( It's hard to tell if the increased engine and exhaust noise just drowns it out). Anyone have any ideas what this may be?

clutch basket rattle.

So if its clutch basket rattle, If I put it in gear and let the clutch grab a bit it should put a bit of tension on he basket and stop making the noise?
