Hell, I've made up excuses like asking my wife if she wants something sweet to go riding late at night and when it takes me 45min to grab a bag of m&m's she looks at me like I've lost my mind. She'll never understand...mabey I should get her on a bike.
That sounds totally familiar, just wait... one of these days you'll pass up sex to go for a ride. Then she'll REALLY think you're crazy!
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

yes, definitely worth the monthly payments.

as for riding position... yeah, it's really not ideal for touring.

most i've done is somewhere close to 200 miles in a day.

longest i've ridden non-stop is only 80 miles. my back doesn't hurt but my hands and feet got tired around 60 miles.

Man, it's too hot to ride, I spent maybe 2 hours on the bike today, and was burning up, although it wasn't bad when i was moving.

It's never too hot! Well it's only too hot when you're not movin'. Avoid stop lights!

I swear, I hit every stop light I came to today. But yeah, it's never to hot, I would just prefer it if it was less hot.

I'm at work bored out of tiny brain waiting for some tenant to decide that they have an emergency that cannot wait until the morning to be dealt with.

I shall put some time in either Tuesday or Wednesday hopefully when the next England match is on and everybody is at home or in the pub and the Old Bill are swarming City Centres...

Or in other words when the roads are empty and the Police are busy somwhere else!

but if you guys have speed cams all over, how will the cops not being there even matter.

won't they just send you a pic w/ a violation fine?

You've got to trigger them first. As long as you are cruising past under the speed limit most of them wont trigger.

For reasons unknown but that I am thankful for the digital cameras that average your time between cameras to see if you are speeding are forward facing, and we dont have forward placing number plates on bikes. Yet.
