I'm trying to think of a polite way to say, "take your soap box and leave NSX."

That video still makes me wince every time I see it.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

um no.

i'm one of the biggest safety advocates out there, and i will never laugh at someone who gets hurt in an accident even if they were not dressed for the conditions/speed/stunt/whatever.

people getting hurt isn't funny. people wearing no gear isn't funny. people getting hurt while wearing no gear is still not funny.

you may recall back when you came here and posted that you didn't have a jacket and other gear because of personal issues. My response if you recall was to get it when you can afford to, and even suggested a mesh jacket since those are less expensive than getting full leathers or something. I didn't call you a squid or an idiot or anything like that even though some of your posts and comments would make many people call you that.

generalizing that everyone on these boards that is safety conscious actually wants every person without gear to win a Darwin award is just plain ignorant.

I don't feel sorry for a girl, or this guy at all.
Guy supposed to realize that
1. he has a passenger on his back.
2. his passenger is not wearing any gear, but helmet
3. HE is not wearing any gear

So why the hell is he trying to show off by doing a whellie???? If his decision making is that poor, that having these BASIC stuff not crossing his mind - he shouldn't be on a motorcycle for his safety, and people around him.
As far as a girl - I'm sure she knew the guy before she got on motorcycle (if not - then its a different story, and I appologize). She knew that this guy makes poor decision making, and not get on his bike wth him.
If you knew that your friend can jump off 2nd story building, just for fun, break his legs, and then do it again, whould you ride on his bike? probably not.
I'm done here
