Hello,
I bought “Kawasaki Vulcan 1987 1500 A” with no owner manual here is my question when I stop at red light or just stop on some reason I cannot go from second gear to the neutral, however when I just start everything seems to be fine I am going from neutral to first, second and etc. I think I am doing something wrong.
Thanks for any advice

Re: Kawasaki 1987 1500 A
Kawasaki's have a little thing for not getting in gear. Our Vulcan as well as a friend's Vulcan doesn't like getting into N either. Roll it fwd and back and try the gear shift again. It seems to get finicky, kinda like need to roll backwards when shifting a truck out of 4wd.sirob wrote:Hello,

Same with my honda. Just give it a bump and it should click right in, nothing to worry about.Shorts wrote: Kawasaki's have a little thing for not getting in gear. I agree with dieziege though. It's good to always be in a gear where you have acceleration power, even sitting at a light, in case someone tries to run up your pipes
