I did the EVE beta thing too....that game has had so many major patches...it only bears a faint resemblance to the beta. Jove space still isnt opened up... that hasn't changed. But the political bit is whats exciting there these days.

The devs in a RP guise held a meeting in the curse region just lately, showed up in carriers, dreadnoughts etc...as the Angel pirate leaders, basically said, we hate the sanshas rats and by association, anyone who lives where they do. So they've effectively started a war with a few thousand people duking it out.



I'm horrible at RTS games, the Civ's and Starcrafts, and AoE's. Theyre fun, but being beaten to a pulp is only enjoyable for so long to me. I loved Diablo2. and if blizzard was to put out a universe based on That...... oh yea.

Yeah, I can understand how playing an RTS is very frustrating. On the bright side Civ is turn based, so you can take your time to do things.

As far as a Diablo III or a mmporpg or whatever the acronym is, they're rumors flying that they might make one for the Diablo world. Personally, I hope they don't base it on a system similar to WOW, and stick with what made Diablo I and II such a success.
