Okay, so from now on no more second guessing myself. i was thinking he was filipino, but rather than guess that i just said south pacific, which was correct, but then i second guessed myself again.

totally unrelated i dated a Filipino chick for awhile.

ON TOPIC:

those 200cc bikes use the engine design from 1950's hondas. They don't last very long, and most of them aren't put together well.

The Hyosung Comet is a sweeeet bike! It has the same motor as the GV250 cruiser I had, and I had a chance to ride a GT250R a while back at a dealer around here. It was plenty big for me (6'0 225lbs). The engine is very very smooth, it really doesn't even feel like a twin. The Ninja 250 does have a little more power, but my money would still go to the comet.

The Comet is a few pounds lighter than the ninja, is smoother, and still gets 70mpg. Fit and finish is pretty good too. They are real easy to work on as well.

Yeah, I didn't figure those things would be worth a crap. The styling is enough to make my testes quiver with maddening sickness.

That Hyosung is looking really nice. Power doesn't matter much to me. I'm a total n00b (only bike I've ever rode was a Honda Trail 70. About 1/4 HP at best) so as long as I can cruise at 55-65 and have enough left to pass slower traffic I'm fine.
