There I was....

#1 Unread post by Doggy Boy »

There I was tryin to watch out for everything i.e. cars pulling out, animals, gravel, oil, pedestrians, and riding early sun. so as to avoid most of that and I came so close to running over a good sized divit in the road.
I am gonna look for shadows in the road way more now.
I did not see it until I was right on top of it. Fortunately, I was to the left in the left tire track.

It was pretty deep and i can only wonder if I had gone straight over the thing at 35mph it could have done me wrong.

Anyone ever do this and not upset the bike?
What about running over those big road apple type separation bumps whatchamacallits - like the reflective one on fwys only 3times the size. Seems like those could wreak a little havoc!

everytime i go out i learn there is always somethin - if you know what I mean.

I've been caught a couple times, but lucked out and no crash, no blow-out or bent rim, all of which are possible when hitting a pothole.
