I bought a 2004 Swift Tormentor and I have had nothing but problems with it. It's been in the shop many, many times (electrical problems, parts falling off, defective parts etc) This is a brand new $30,000 motorcycle that breaks down constantly!!
I am trying to get Swift to refund my money under the Lemon Law and I am looking for other people that have had problems with their Swift motorcycles.
Send me an email. Has anyone else filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of Phoenix? (Swift is based in Arizona) complaints@phoenix.bbb.org or the Phoenix Attorney General? ag.inquiries@ag.state.az.us If you haven't yet, make sure that you do!!
I have heard many people saying they have had their Swift Mortorcycle in repair shops 15-20 times after only having it about a year or so.
Did you know that some Harley Davidson dealerships not only will not work on a Swift Motorcycle, but they won't take them in as a trade either.
Swift feels that as long as they replace the "warranty" parts, I should not have anything to complain about. How about the months worth of cummulative time my bike spends in a repair shop?? It broke down at 4 am and had to get it towed...$150 for the tow and Swift said that was MY problem. In two years Swift has never apologized to me for any inconvience my purchase may have caused me. They just claim they are doing "everything they can" to resolve the problem.

I wish I never bought the damn thing. Please let me know how your's is doing. We need to band together against Swift and alert people of the problems we have had with Swift Motorcycles!!
