We're finally winning Iraqi hearts and minds--only about 120 killed over the weekend.......You will all be old and gray before that place is stabilized......

It evidently will work until the next story goes into effect-- the same people that believe these little fictions are the same ones who voted for G, I imagine. He undoubtably has a team of propaganda advisors, whose job it is to concoct new excuses periodically.

What oldnslo said. I've never seen a man - even another politician - who was less concerned about the possible results of his actions. The man literally has no conscience. I've said enough... I don;t want to "pee" anyone off - I'm here to talk about motorcycles!

So true, but it's so easy to get off track with all the global distractions we have.

I'm just glad that my brother is done in Iraq. He spent his leave with his girlfriend in the Maldives Islands. What a stark change for him, I'm sure. And in a month or so he'll get those lovely little knee replacements that he's been waiting for.

I've become numb anymore in regards to Iraq, George W., Afghanistan, all of it - I just feel resigned. There is too much force in our current government, and this mess in Iraq won't be made right any time soon. In 100 years the world will use this as yet another example of how we don't know what we're doing when it comes to dealing with world issues.

It's not just George either. It's the war monger mentality that takes over. It's come in all walks of life throughout history. George just happens to be the one that is affecting us right now. The human race is still quite infantile when it comes to matters of property, power, and justice. We're getting better in some respects, but man, it sure is taking a long time.

Cheers,
Loonette
