GA 190 - Pine Mountain, new video

#1 Unread post by macktruckturner »

Yesterday was a great day for a ride, so that's exactly what I did. Mounted my camera, ran the mic up under the seat this time. I didn't close the seat properly, and I'm surprised it didn't fly off, but it all worked out, so that's a good thing. I set my course for GA 190 over Pine Mountain. The same road my friend Marc crashed on. There were too many people there, but more than I'd like. When you watch the video, you'll note one decreasing radius left turn (around 13min30ish seconds) - that is where Marc went down.

Anywho, it was a fun ride - I'll probably ride again today, and likely make another video. Video Here 138MB

Pine Mountain is a fun little ride provided there aren't soccer moms driving 5mph in their Tahoe keeping me from even doing the speed limit. GA 180 (Wolf Pen Gap Rd.) up in Suches is outstanding though, in fact, just about everything around Blood Mountain rules.
