Just saw this....

ORANGEBURG, N.Y. (AP) - A motorcyclist from Ossining is facing charges after a chase on the Palisades Interstate Parkway that police say reached 142 miles per hour. ...

http://www.9wsyr.com/news/state/story.a ... 7F494CC935

Bummer for him... being held in lieu of $20,000 bail... guy is (or was) an employee of the New York City Administration for Children's Services.
Ride it like you think owning it matters.

That's ok... we had a genius here get stopped for doing over 150. The moron admitted to doing over 180... so the trooper cited him for 180!

it's so tempting to go fast when i see an empty horizon on the freeway.

anyway... the fastest i've gone is only 137mph... but at that speed, it's hard for me to spot cops anymore.

i better find a speed test area. i really wanna know how fast she can go.

also, i'd never run away from cops. if they catch me speeding and light their siren. i'll pull over.

I've been on the Palisades plenty of times. It's a nice twisty road and most of the time it's only 2 lanes. It's not a highway that I would chose to do 140 mph.

hehe, yes speeding is so temping, although not very tempting on my bike as it has no fairings/windshield so I most the time I just go the speed limit, or slightly over, although the other day I got on my lightning and went up to 120mph, but then I got kinda tired and went back down to 80.
