new guy looking for a motocycle

Hello everyone,I am a young guy here in headland alabama and I am at the age to get a motocycle but it has to have a limit of 150cc's.What is a good motcycle for a young beginer.I have no previous expirence with motocycle only atvs 400cc and higher.What should I do first?

why the 150cc limit? is this by law bec of your age?

that's tough. you might be able to find some older model 125cc bikes.

lowest cc streetbikes they sell in the US are usually in the 250cc size.

there're cheap bikes from china being sold in ebay, which is only 100cc but i heard they're not reliable.

in canada (and you should have it there too) we have The Eliminator 125 which would fit your engine size requirements.

Do yourself a favor though and take a MSF course in your area, your ATV experience will only help with things like shifting and knowing where many of the controls are. out on the street, it's a whole new game.

well here if your 14 it is 150cc or lower but I think when your 16 there is no limit.I look around and see if there is a course here.

Kawasaki Eliminator 125 is sold in the U.S. That'll fit the bill.
A dog had his chain reduced one link at a time, every few days, until his chain was so short he could barely move. He never resisted because he was conditioned to the loss of his freedom slowly, over time. Are we in this country becoming like the dog?
