Depends. Getting gas, I just wear it in to pay. If it's raining, and I'm inside for a while, I take it in and dry it off (like church or a restaurant). If it's covered with bugs, I take it in and wash it. On nice days, I usually hang it on the under-seat hook and it's locked to the bike. I put my gloves in it first so I don't have to carry them around.

All this makes me realize why I usually just ride around until I need gas, then fill up and ride some more. Everything else is more of a hassle
Ride safe...God bless!

lol wearing a helmet when in side paying for gas would really freak out the attendents. i was meeting a friend one night and i had to stand out side for like 10 minutes the guy inside was so nervous he called the cops on me. walking in a gas station with a gun they almost hand you the money thinking they are being robbed. i cant imagine the reaction with a helmet hiding your face.

Havent had the opportunity to use my helmet on a bike yet... seeing as its not really moving... But, I do skidoo alot, and I stuff it between the handle bars and the windshield..I know its different, But I dont wanna be left out of all the good stuff just cause of the technicality that my bike doesnt work...

I have an RX-7 so I always keep it secure, too expensive to replace if it damages.
If I am on a short stop, going into the woods for a scenic view etc… I will usually use the D-ring and seat lock. If I am going to be gone a while, at a club or something, I will take it with me and use the coat check.
I put it on par with locking the front fork in place, if someone is going to steal it, I am going to make them work for it.

Gee, I guess it's only me that gets off stalking around with a padded jacket, armored gloves and mirrored visor, scaring small children. Most of you guys seem to leave your lid on your bike.

Wouldn't leave mine anywhere unattended - I like to know exactly where it is, and what's happening to it, all the time. Only exception to the rule is paying for petrol, i'll hang it on the mirror. But then, the g/f is always there to keep an eye on it for me!
Don't give up.

Not now, not soon, not after being continually knocked down.

If you never give up, you can never truly fail.

I usually leave mine at the house on the shelf where my wife keeps my b-lls. HA HA HA! I bet this will really stir the pot. If you guys were fortunate enough to live in a state where helments are not required would you have this problem? lol. Before someone blows a fuse I usually keep mine in the spacious trunk of my Goldwing along with all the other little necesssities like all my other buddies jackets gloves etc. that they can't put away cause they don't want a tourer and all that extra stuff on thier cool machines. lol 8)

I would not leave my helmet anyplace unattened in public. Have none of you never heard of punks who think its funny to "pee" in them? I have, hell I've met some of them. I won't wear some one else's helmet, or let them wear mine, it's like wearing someone else's underware. I sure as hell won't take the chance of someone taking a leak in mine. :x

My lid comes with me. Always. 8)

And I wear it to pay for fuel...... screw 'em. They seen me ride up and pump gas wearing it, if my walking inside is that much more scary for them, I feel sorry for them.... but not enough to take it off.
No Witnesses.... :shifty:
