Greasing our variuose cables.

In the past I have always used lithium grease to lubricate my clutch and various other cables. However, I have some Mobile 1 synthetic grease that I use on the cars I tune (it is amazing stuff if you haven’t tried it). Do you think this would also work on the bike cables?
