i'm easily at the $120-150 range a month, i go riding every weekend and most evenings. the positive side is, i put about ten bucks in the blazer every two weeks whether it needs it or not, and i haven't been below 3/4 tank in a month.

I'm wondering how many people pay for gas on their card? I always use cash.

i like using card since i don't have to walk to the cashier. plus, i get to keep track of it since i don't really keep paper receipts, which is also why i like buying online.

i've got a gas station credit card, saves you a little bit of money and it's easier to track expenses

Charge it and earn miles for your plane trip to ride somewhere cool that you've never been before.

I still want to ride California along the coast from LA to SF
Calgary to Vancouver
The Dragon
Australia
Maine coast line
Tha Alps
etc......

I've been spending about $130 a month for motorcycle gas. Typically fill up 2-3 times a week at $12 a pop. Bike got almost exactly 60MPG on the last tank.... beats a typical car by about $150 a month. :D
Ride it like you think owning it matters.

Well the way we use the card is, swipe it, our account gets charged, then at the end of the month, we get a statement, then we pay the bill. Viola!

But, I can see kinda what your getting at. You should have a monthly budget and try to stick to it. It shouldn't be too hard to stick to. We evaluate our budget a couple times a year, and ultimately keep track of all money with Quicken (which gets done every month).

Anyhow, you can't go crazy with a gas card. If you have a pretty set routine, it stays fairly constant.
