i do hope you didn't misunderstand my topic like some people did.ZX7Robert wrote:Nothing of consequence to add, but I wanted to say what a breath of fresh air it is to see so many people making rational comments regarding what's truly important in regards to "performance upgrades", on a sportbike message board. I figured it was a coin flip as to whether or not you were being sarcastic regarding the exhaust (I'll give ya the benefit of the doubt, though
), but regardless...one of my pet peeves is the worship of "performance upgrades" that are nothing more than "Look at me!!!!" bumper stickers. Sounds like most everyone here is on the same page.
Anyhow, it was nothing directed at you; please take no offense.

i do want the exhaust upgrade and i'd get it right now if could afford it.
but since i can't... i have to prioritize.
attending a track school is higher on my priority list since it will be more beneficial.

I'm nitpicking, but this isn't a sportbike forum.ZX7Robert wrote:Nothing of consequence to add, but I wanted to say what a breath of fresh air it is to see so many people making rational comments regarding what's truly important in regards to "performance upgrades", on a sportbike message board. Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

so far, here's my choices...
1. pirelli diablo corsa - front ($142), rear ($169)
2. metzeler race tech - front ($142), rear ($173)
3. michelin power race - front ($186), rear ($202)
basically around $400 for a set. if i could get 4 trackdays out of it... it'll be worth it to me.
