Sheffield? If I remember my UK geography correctly, that's about midway between Nottingham and Leeds, right? Yorkshire?

But about the purple/blue camo pants.... what exactly are you trying to blend into?
I was wondering that too. Not like she has your bike or something.

Exactly. I wear camo that blends into the ditch foliage around here so I can jump off and hide if someone I know sees my purple beast.

Thanks Loonette
Now I was wondering about that. There's a good few inches for sure to move my rear back in the seat - as I am at the moment, I sit right against the tank...
As long as you feet still have a comfortable reach, it may help to have your rear a bit back. You'll be in a more lay-down position, but your back is naturally curved like the leaf-spring of a car (at least how cars used to be!). It shouldn't be hunched over. Also, it will allow your elbows to hang in a relaxed fashion under your wrist level, which will take a bit of stress off your hands.

You appear to be in good shape, so I'm sure that after awhile you'll find the perfect riding position. Oh, and once again... SWEET BIKE!

Cheers,
Loonette

I tried the moving-arse-further-back thing.. but the seat tilts forward so its nigh impossible to keep it there! I think its a case of my upper body adapting though, I did 150 miles yesterday and what was suffering on my return was my trapezius, and my left moreso than the right :?

Anyway, on a slight side note, yesterday....................................

I passed my DAS test!

Yippeeeee! :clapping:

I've seen him do it at speed!
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.
