Depends...on what the traffic around me is doing, if there's cop cars driving around nearby, if it's a known photo radar area, time of day, city or highway....
Ya right,
there are only 2 kinds of bikes: It's a Ninja... look that one's a Harley... oh there's a Ninja... Harley...Ninja...

i see... so your 6th gear limiter kicked in. only the '99 busa has no limiter IIRC.Relsek wrote: No mods, speed was 186 in a 55. Nobody around but a few cows on the other side of the fence.
The bike is stock. It always happens that I say I'm going to keep my speed down, then someone passes me and my right hand goes crazy.

i think you should buy a TRE... it's pretty cheap but makes a lot of difference.

from previous posts of his I get this feeling that Relsek no longer has the desire to explore the top end of his busa.VermilionX wrote: i see... so your 6th gear limiter kicked in. only the '99 busa has no limiter IIRC.

no TRE for me, 186 is plenty, it feels like the wind wants to rip my head off as it is. I think I'll start working on going slower rather than faster. I am a grandpa you know.VermilionX wrote:i see... so your 6th gear limiter kicked in. only the '99 busa has no limiter IIRC.Relsek wrote: No mods, speed was 186 in a 55.
