I was rooting for them.

And that guy deserved that red card for the head butt, even if the ref did't see it at first.

It was really sad actually. Zidane is the "Old Lion" of the french team, and this was most definitely his last game (He's 34 yrs old.) It sux to be kicked out like that.

I have no Idea WHAT Materazzi (the italian) said, but YOU KNOW that headbut didn't hurt anything like Materazzi made it appear to get the attention of the ref. It was a sad day for the French, but I think it was just as sad for the Italians in terms of sportsmanship. (Though very few Italians would see it that way)
