I've got me an acoustic japanese knockoff of a popular US brand, don't ask me what kind, it's in another state right now.

Is that a Jackson guitar? If so, which model? How do you like it? It may be off topic but I'm thinking of getting a Jackson and would like your input

Yes, it is a Jackson Performer. At least I think that is what it is. It is the best guitar I have ever owned. I pretty much bought it because of the price ($400, 7 years ago) and it was all the rage in the '80's! Adrian Smith of Iron Maiden played a Jackson so I figured what the heck.

I love the tremelo bridge and the locking neck. I don't play as often as I should anymore and it is always nice to have it still be in tune after a few weeks of not playing. I have never had any problems or complaints about this guitar.

What Jackson are you thinking on picking up? I like the Randy Rhoads "V" or the Dave Mustaine King "V". I wanted a "V" when I bought this, but I played sitting down alot and the "V" was uncomfortable in this position.
