Hey I say if he wants to spend his money on stupid things that he really does not need. Then let him. It does not effect me so I really dont care.

And Verm I think it is a cool helmet. Just loose the tear offs.

I bet it doesn't affect you either :P
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

It's time verm put Google in his favourites list, then he can do his own research instead of expecting all of us to do it for him.... :frusty:

Verm, instead of buying an entire new helmet check and see if they make a visor with tearoffs for your helmet. I know my HJC AC-12 has visors (made by HJC too, not some wierd company) that have tear-off mounts on them.

Check around.

 I highly, highly recommend you purchase a helmet with a faceshield, then, since almost any faceshield can accept tearoffs.

So stop bashing Verm because he's interested in tear offs or a performance exhaust. It's what HE enjoys. He's playing to HIS passions, not yours ya jerks! Even if you don't agree with some of his ideas you don't have to throw them back in his face!
I agree. It's HIS choice. He was meerly asking for advice and everybody starts throwing stones. It's negative remarks and constant bashing that drive people away from a so-called "friendly forum" where he might possibly be a major contributor for someone.

Are you for real, is there no water where you come from. I've never heard of spitting on your shield to clean it.

And what's up with your avatar?
Spit is a diving trick, helps prevent your goggles steaming up
