Alternatives to Draggin Jeans?

  • Quote

#1 Post by jonnythan » Thu Jul 13, 2006 5:29 am

They are backordered in my size for 4-6 weeks, apparently.

I was looking at the Icon Recon jeans, but they look a little goofy and don't have as much protection in the seat.

I want something that looks more or less like a normal pair of jeans/pants but still gives butt/knee protection. Suggestions?

My Draggin' Jeans were also back ordered. I finally got them and have been very satisfied. The reason I chose them is they are the only jeans that actually offer abraision protection and armor. None of the other jeans I could find had armor.

I was really pissed at Draggin' because of the hold up, but after 10 weeks, and constant badgering on my part, they told me that they had switched manufacturers and that the old manufacturer had refuse to give them the original pattern, so the new manufacturer had to start from scratch. The old mnufacturer had been producing a great deal of faulty product. I would have been so mad if they had mentioned this is the first place.

I have a set of Brosh Power Jeans. They're regular jeans with kevlar pockets in the knee area and removable kevlar hip pads. The pockets in the knees accomodate optional knee pads. There isn't any extra butt protection unfortunately. They're pretty comfortable even with the knee armor in place. I'm planning on taking pictures and writing a review in the near future.

Dragging jeans looks like gimmick to me. They don't even have knee armour. Just wear regular pants or shorts and put textile overpants on top.

You walk around with a cutesy cartoon skull on your "O Ring"?
Ride it like you think owning it matters.

The ICONs don't even come in my size (34x30). I'll wear Levis til the Draggin Jeans are in stock.
