The Edmonton Crew is in agreement. It was an absolutely amazing night, thanks so much Bok for hosting a BBQ, and you'll all have to head up to our neck of the wood sometime so we can return the favour.

The good news is that with the snow melted the roving lynch mobs have gone into hybernation, so if you bike up you'll be safe. Be careful in the winter though, those guys are nuts, I'd hate to be a Calgarian in Edmonton come winter... shudder.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

How many people did you have show up for it? Sounds like you had a great time. :)

I'd even buy a new Pronger jersey (Anaheim of course) for a road trip to hit one of those.

Please explain...

Sounds like you had a great par-tay! It's so great that there's such a large group of you that get together. I told Mike to "look out" - in the Summer of '08 I'm planning a big ride, and you all are on my list!!

Cheers,

There is a huge rivalry between Calgary and Edmonton in most everything but at no time in the year is it stronger than in the winter with Hockey season.

My poor husband did that at a party last year. It was a plexi-glass storm door, and he just walked right into it. He wasn't even drunk or anything like that. Luckily he didn't get hurt.

 We haven't let BubbaG live down your screen door incident yet. And wait'll we show you the matching pillow, comforter, bedding set he was using...

Bok, Ms. Bok - that was a fantastic BBQ and evening at your place. Thanks again for having us all over even though with BubbaG, you know, we can't take him anywhere....

You looked pretty good on his bike btw - most drunk looking - even tho there was NO alcoholic beverages consumed (Edm crew had a 1 hour highway commute back) Just toss on his sunglasses and jacket & you could almost pass for him!
Ya right, there are only 2 kinds of bikes: It's a Ninja... look that one's a Harley... oh there's a Ninja... Harley...Ninja...

I'm sorry I missed it too! I had a little extra Stampeding to get out of my system that night :D

I hope there's another one soon.
